America’s 250: Lettice Pierce Bryan: Kentucky Homemaker
The second speaker is from the Kentucky Chautauqua series. Virgil Covington, Jr. of Georgetown, Kentucky, will present William Wells Brown: How I Got My Name 1814/1815-1884. The program will be held on Saturday, Aug. 29 at 10 a.m. at the Pulaski County Public Library.
America 250 4th Of July Celebration
Whether you’re a Veteran, active-duty service member, family member, or community supporter… We invite you to join us as we celebrate 250 years of American history and the freedoms we hold dear!
America’s 250: Revolutionary War in a Trunk
The program will be held on Saturday, July 11 at 10 a.m. at the Pulaski County Public Library. Description: This hands-on, interactive program is fun for all ages! Baggett brings to his listeners an old wooden trunk full of interesting items and military equipment from the Revolutionary War period.
The Millie Weaver Team's First Annual Fourth of July Bash
Join The Millie Weaver Team as they host their first-ever Fourth of July Bash July 3 at Firebrook Park! The event will include a free fireworks show, face painting, food trucks and vendors. Bring a blanket for the fireworks show at dark!
Eubank Independence Day Celebration
The Eubank Ruritans, the Eubank Fire Department and the City of Eubank present the community’s annual Eubank Independence Day Celebration, a two-day annual event at Eubank City Park! The celebration includes beauty pageants, food vendors, vendors of all kinds, music, parade, kid zone, raffle, silent auction, and it all ends with a spectacular fireworks display.
Lake Cumberland Winds presents By Dawn's Early Light
Join Lake Cumberland Winds on July 2, 2026, at 7pm for By Dawn’s Early Light — a powerful community concert featuring a concert band and choir that celebrates our nation, honors Kentucky and our veterans, and shares the inspiring story behind our National Anthem. Admission is free.
Family Freedom Celebration
Victory Church invites you to our Family Freedom Celebration! Enjoy a night of fun, food, and fireworks with activities for the whole family.
4th of July Honor Breakfast
Veterans and first responders in the community are invited to a special patriotic breakfast hosted by LCRH in celebration of Lake Cumberland 250.

Vendors on the Lawn

Heritage Quilt and Art Show
In partnership with the Somerset Junior Women's Club and Watershed Arts Alliance, Woodstock Lavender Co. invites you to an evening celebrating heritage, craftsmanship, and the spirit of America as we honor the 250th celebration. This special event is a tribute to the stories stitched into quilts, painted onto canvas, carved into wood, and woven through generations.

SJWC Cemetery Walk
Kick Off Somersets 250 American Celebration by learning about the people who settled and make Pulaski County what is it. Tickets ($5) will be sold from 5:30 to 6:00 pm.
